Problems with landing mode feared The reason is that a radio frequency range of the new fast internet for mobile phones could get in the way of certain aircraft electronics in landing mode.

in the range of frequencies 3.7-3.98 GHz which could interfere with the radio altimeters of certain aircraft and thus also prevent the braking systems from going into landing mode, says a statement from the US authorities .
