The youtuber JerryRigEverything also got his hands on the latest addition to Apple for his usual endurance test : iPhone 13 Pro Max , as well as its predecessors, is confirmed as very solid and resistant.

As always, we start from the screen: this starts showing the first marks and scratches at level 6 and 7 of the Mohs scale (in line with other glass screen devices), but the Ceramic Shield does its job and the aforementioned scratches are extremely less marked than other smartphones.

The stainless steel edge also resists well, while the lenses that protect the camera sensors, which should be sapphire, show the first signs already at level 7 (and not 8 as expected).

The screen performs well in the flame test, as it does not show halos after a very long time under the flame of a lighter. Finally the long awaited bending test : the device is extremely rigid and, despite some creaking, remains usable and impossible to “break in two”.
