More than five tons of prohibited plastic bags and the raw material necessary for their manufacture were seized on Tuesday by the National Customs Brigade (BND).
The search carried out inside a room located in the locality of Sidi Moussa Ben Ali revealed the presence of 3 clandestine workshops for the manufacture of plastic bags, indicates the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes (ADII) in a press release.
The operation resulted in the seizure of 3,210 kilograms of bags of finished products, 2,100 kilograms of rolls at the cutting stage, 17 machines for different uses (inflation, cutting, etc.) and 2 electronic scales.
