On December 30, local time, Airbus signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on 20 A220 aircraft with the US aircraft leasing company Aviation Capital Group (ACG), which is wholly owned by Tokyo Century (8439). Announced that it has agreed to a final order for 40 A320neo families (of which 5 are A321XLR).

The A220 is the new name for the small passenger aircraft “C Series” developed by Bombardier, Canada. Airbus acquired the operating company “CSALP”, which manufactures and sells the C series, in July 2018. Two models of the C series were developed, the CS100 (100-135 seats) and the CS300 (130-160 seats), which has a 3.7-meter long mid-body, and the CS100 was renamed the A220-100 and the CS300 was renamed the A220-300.
The A321XLR is an ultra-long-range model with an extended cruising range of the A321neo, launched in June 2019, and is aiming for service in 2023. XLR (Xtra Long Range) means “ultra-long distance”, and by adding a fuel tank, the world’s longest cruising range of 4700 nautical miles (about 8704 km) can be achieved with a single aisle aircraft, and it can fly for up to 11 hours. ..
