RO : Sebrae launches first public notice to select scholarship holders to work in rural innovation

Selection notice is open until next Sunday (3)

Sebrae once again promotes the culture of innovation , this time focusing on agro. Applications are now open for selection of scholarship holders to encourage innovation to work in the Rural Innovation Project – Sebrae Technological Extension Scholarships.

The purpose of the selection is to promote research and development of actions innovative, with sustainable practices within small rural businesses and networking to promote cooperation and governance of territories. Applications can be made through an electronic form available on the WorldLabs platform, at this email address, between September 22 and October 3rd.

There are 15 vacancies for graduate scholarship holders and two vacancies for postgraduate scholarship holders. Remunerations range from BRL 4,000 to BRL 6,000 and the degrees required are forest engineering, food engineering, fisheries engineering, veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, agribusiness management, agribusiness technologist, food technologist or areas for the purposes of agricultural or food sciences.

“We are going to leverage agribusiness strategies in Rondônia with the work of scholarship holders in various fronts of innovation. Improvement of production processes, cost reduction, management control of the business, marketing and sales and insertion of new business models”, said the technical director of Sebrae Samuel Almeida..

According to the director, the initiative is a pilot project that should be expanded to the entire country next year. “In Brazil there is still a great lack of innovative solutions for small producers, and the work of the scholarship holders will allow small rural businesses to gain in productivity and competitiveness”, said Samuel.
