Amazon is probably working on the Alexa refrigerator

Amazon Echo Dot 4 Alexa Head

Fridges should become smarter and be able to think for themselves, you probably have this feeling at Amazon too. According to consistent sources, they are currently developing their first own refrigerator. “Project Pulse is designed to track your inventory and buying habits, predict what you want and have it delivered”, reported Insider based on own sources.

The refrigerator equipped with Alexa should also keep an eye on the expiry dates of the food. And he can automatically suggest recipes based on the food available. Last but not least, there is a connection to the outside world so that you can order new groceries at any time, for example from Amazon Fresh. In this regard, Amazon will certainly also work with other companies where Fresh is not yet available.

Amazon has the potential to change the market

The project has been in planning for some time. I can well imagine that Amazon wants to deliver a good product and not just a half-working one. The latter has kept me from choosing “smart” refrigerators for years. I tend to trust Amazon, Google and Co. when it comes to artificial intelligence and similar things.

Has anyone among you already have a smart fridge?
