Tottenham will be looking to keep their hopes of qualifying for the Europa League alive by winning their final home game of the season on Saturday.
Spurs will face Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in their penultimate game of the 22/23 Premier League season.
The north London outfit currently sit in seventh place in the Premier League table, despite the dismissal of Antonio Conte and Cristian Stellini earlier in the season.
The Italians were given their marching orders following poor form in the Premier League, which meant that 31-year-old Ryan Mason was placed in charge of the side for the final six games of the season.
Under Mason, the Lilywhites have won one game, drawn one and lost two games so far, causing their hopes of qualifying for the Europa League to fade.
Following the disappointing season, Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris has fallen out of favour at the club.
Reports suggest that the Frenchman could be on his way out at the end of the season, which would bring an end to his 10-year tenure at the Lilywhites.
Therefore, Spurs are reportedly searching for a new goalkeeper to take over from the 36-year-old.
According to The SunTottenham have emerged as a surprise candidate to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
The report claims that Mendy is refusing to sign a new contract at Chelsea and that Spurs may pick up the goalkeeper in the summer.

Following the sacking of Thomas Tuchel, the Senegalese international lost his starting spot to Kepa Arrizabalaga, which is one of the reasons why he wants a move away from west London.
The goalkeeper joined Chelsea from Rennes in 2020 for around £20m and that season he helped his side win the Champions League title and contributed towards Senegal’s 2022 African Cup triumph.
The 31-year-old’s contract at the Blues runs until 2025 but Spurs could launch a bid this summer if they believe he is the right person to take the number one spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
However, Spurs have also been linked with goalkeepers including David Raya, Gavin Bazunu and Dean Henderson.
It is believed that Chelsea may sell Mendy for a cut price as they attempt to slim down their bloated squad.
