Crisis on the border. Zbigniew Rau: Polish intelligence will cooperate with the Turkish one

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after talking to his boss Turkish diplomacy Mevlut Cavusoglu stressed that economic relations with Turkey are very good, mutual trade last year amounted to EUR 6 billion and expressed the hope that it would soon reach EUR 8 billion.

During a joint press conference with Zbigniew Rau, Mevlut Cavusoglu emphasized the importance of 600 years of Turkey’s relationship with Poland and thanked, among others for helping Polish firefighters during fires in this country. He defined Poland as a strategic partner.

Cavusoglu drew attention to the mutual increasing trade turnover, and mentioned the amount of trade in the order of USD 10 billion as the target. Among the purposes of his visit, he also mentioned the talks of the delegations of Polish and Turkish entrepreneurs.
Referring to the issue of illegal migration of nationals Arabs from Belarus to Poland, declared Turkey’s assistance in this matter. He informed that an invitation would be sent to the head of the Polish Ministry of Interior and Administration to visit Turkey in order to consult on further actions.
