Djukanovic: A play called “Pandora Papers” an attempt to discredit

The latest public performance of the non-governmental organization MANS, called “Pandora Papiri”, is just another in a series of attempts to discredit the President of Montenegro and members of his family, which MANS has been working on in vain for years, it was announced tonight from the cabinet of the Montenegrin president Mil Đukanović.

As it is pointed out, this is best confirmed by the fact that the executive director of MANS Vanja Ćalović Marković, as a guest in Dnevnik Javni servisa, did not know what to answer the question “whether something illegal was done there.”

The statement indicates that the President’s Office recently received questions from the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, to which Djukanovic gave detailed answers. to the end, they deny the misdeeds placed by MANS.

Djukanovic said at the time that in 2012, at a time when he was not performing state affairs, he was working on establishing the infrastructure for starting business activities with his son. At that time, he founded the “Victoria Trust”, which, while he was the owner, did not have any business transactions, did not open any bank account, because it was never activated, the Cabinet said in a statement.

It is added that, after Đukanović returned to the position of Prime Minister unplanned in the same year, he transferred the entire ownership of the “Victoria Trust” to his son Blaž.

“In order to accurately inform the public, we repeat that the mentioned ‘trust’ existed only on paper, and all that MANS published was the most common malicious spin, in which, as agreed, Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić and his deputy Dritan Abazović immediately joined. “After all, everything is easily verifiable, so it is not difficult for the competent authorities to determine the actual factual situation regarding these malicious allegations,” reads the reaction from Djukanovic’s cabinet.
