Simbu is an impeccable performer in Tamil cinema who was bestowed with an honorary doctorate from Vels University, recently. The multi-faceted actor is turning 39 years old next Thursday. Now, the latest buzz is that two treats are awaiting the STR fans on February 3rd as a birthday special.
First is that it is being reported that a major update from Silambarasan’s upcoming film ‘Pathu Thala’ will be revealed on the star’s birthday. According to the speculations, probably the first look poster with Simbu’s new look is expected to be released on February 3. ‘Pathu Thala’, directed by Obeli N Krishna, is the remake of the Kannada blockbuster ‘Mufti’ co-starring Gautham Karthik and Priya Bhavani Shankar.
The second treat is the massive update from Simbu and Gautham Menon’s ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’. With music composed by Isai Puyal AR Rahman, the first single track of VTK is most likely to arrive on STR’s incarnation day. Siddhi Idnani is paired with Silambarasan while Radhika Sarathkumar and Neeraj Madhav are playing crucial roles.
On the professional front, Simbu is also starring in ‘Corona Kumar’, written and directed by Gokul. Ace director Shankar’s daughter Aditi Rao is playing the female lead in the film which is touted to be the spin-off of the 2013 superhit comedy flick ‘Idharku Thane Aasaipattai Balakumara’. Vijay Sethupathi will essay a cameo role in this upcoming movie.
