A 27-year-old man was robbed on Sunday morning in Basel. He was slightly injured, as the canton police in Basel-Stadt announced.

The previous investigations have shown that the drunk 27-year-old noticed how two strangers took his wallet away from him, the message says. When he asked for it back, a violent argument broke out. The victim was slightly injured.

The two perpetrators fled in an unknown direction. An immediate search has so far been unsuccessful.

People who can provide relevant information are asked to contact the criminal investigation department of the public prosecutor’s office, Tel. 061 267 71 11.
