El tiempo: 34 estaciones meteorológicas registraron valores inferiores a 10 grados Celsius esta madrugada

Si hasta el momento las temperaturas habían sido bajas, las de la pasada madrugada hicieron buscar el abrigo incluso a los más valientes. No es para menos, pues 34 estaciones meteorológicas del país registraron en las últimas horas valores inferiores a los 10 grados Celsius.

El meteorólogo Elier Pila Fariñas informó en su cuenta en Twitter que, de esas instalaciones, ocho reportaron temperaturas por debajo de 5 grados Celsius, en las provincias Pinar del Río, Mayabeque, Matanzas y La Habana.

Según el especialista, el valor más bajo marcado por los termómetros fue 2.8 grados Celsius en el mayabequense poblado de Bainoa. Ello rompe el récord de valor mínimo histórico en el mes de enero para ese territorio, que había registrado 3.0 grados Celsius en 1981.

Datos de las 7 am, al menos 33 estaciones con temperaturas mínimas inferiores a los 10 ºC y 8 por debajo de 5 ºC.

Otras temperaturas que llamaron la atención de los especialistas fueron los 3.2 grados Celsius reportados en el aeropuerto José Martí y los 7.4 grados Celsius registrados por la estación Cuba-Francia, en la Isla de la Juventud, que igualan el valor histórico para un mes de enero atesorado por ese terruño.

En su sitio web, el Instituto de Meteorología pronosticó que las condiciones invernales se mantendrán durante el día de hoy, con temperaturas máximas entre 23 y 26 grados Celsius y, aunque se estima que los valores desciendan en la noche en la mitad occidental, no deben hacerlo de forma tan marcada como en la madrugada de este lunes.
