Expensive handbags stolen during Abingdon home burglary

Expensive handbags were among valuable items stolen in a burglary.

The bags were taken after thieves broke into a house through an upstairs window.

The burglary in Foxcombe Road, Boars Hill near Abingdon, happened some time between 4.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday November 19.

Police reminded residents “to check all windows and doors are secure even when at home”.

Writing on Facebook, TVP South Oxon and Vale of White Horse said: “Police are appealing for witnesses after another incident of burglary in Boars Hill.

“We are requesting residents to review CCTV and doorbell footage in the area at the time of the offence.”
