“Now I am also finished with my radiation treatment. It feels very nice and I want to thank you again for all the support during my treatment, not least from you who follow me here “, she writes on Instagram.
In April she went out with the cancer message. As one of the most prominent ministers in the government during the corona crisis, she continued to work without taking sick leave.
– I feel very well, I have said it all along, and so in retrospect I can think that I was probably more tired in the spring when I had started the treatment, but I did not feel that I felt particularly bad, says Lena Hallengren to Göteborgs-Posten.
– Of course, cancer is awful, those words, or that diagnosis is not something you want. Sure, it’s a tough treatment, but it’s actually for you not to have a relapse, she tells the newspaper.
She praises the Instagram care at home and look forward to continuing as Minister of Social Affairs.
“I am also so happy about the care I have received at Länssjukhuset in Kalmar and grateful that I have felt so good that I have been able to work all this period ”.
