Head-on collision in Kanata area sends three to hospital

A head-on collision Sunday at a Kanata-area intersection left two vehicles with “extensive damage” and three people in hospital, paramedics say.

All three were reported to be in stable condition.

The Ottawa Paramedic Service was called to Terry Fox Drive and Fernbank Road shortly after 2 p.m., according to an OPS release. An off-duty paramedic was the first on the scene.

One person was treated and released, while three patients were taken to local hospitals.
