Merdeka.com – General Chairperson of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Daeng M Faqih ordered doctors to be prepared in the event of a spike in cases of the Omicron variant of the Covid-19 variant. According to him, people have a tendency to go to health facilities, and doctors must be ready to help.

“From IDI we have issued an organizational order, that friends (doctors) must be alert and ready to help in services (health facilities),” said Daeng in the MNC Trijaya polemic discussion ‘preparing for the omicron wave’, Saturday (15/1).

Daeng reminded doctors to be careful Watch out for Omicron waves. He doesn’t want the doctors to fall again.

“What we are doing is reminding our friends (doctors) in the area to be ready. Then our friends in the area must also face this very carefully,” said Daeng.

“Because we don’t want us to try our best to help, then we are also exposed and sick and many of us die,” he said.

Daeng emphasized that although the cases of transmission of the Omicron variant have mild symptoms, preparedness still needs to be done. Moreover, if the case spikes quickly, it will require maximum assistance.

“Because people will definitely choose to flock to health care facilities. This is something that must be anticipated,” he said.
