CBBC star Chelsie Whibley has tragically died at the age of 29 after battling cystic fibrosis.
The TV star, who was best known for Dani’s House and Sadie J, died after fighting the genetic disorder which causes a build up of sticky mucus in the lungs and digestive system and can cause breathing difficulties.
Tributes have flooded in for the star after her heartbreaking death, and here we take a look inside Chelsie’s career.
Who was CBBC star Chelsie Whibley?
Chelsie hails from Denmead in Hampshire, and the popular actress had starred in Dani’s House and Sadie J, but her career was cut short due to her battle with cystic fibrosis.
As well as on-screen performances, she also starred in pantomimes.

She was rushed to Southampton General Hospital on Saturday 2 April and passed away around 2.45pm, according to The Mirror.
Her husband Glyn, 33, who tied the knot to Chelsie in August 2014, has paid tribute to his ‘gorgeous inspiration wife’ and said: “I’m afraid this is the hardest thing I have ever had to write.”
He continued: “It was very quick and she was not in any pain. I know you will all want to send your condolences but we ask to please limit it to comments below in this very distressing time.
“To my gorgeous inspiration wife we will love you always.”

Glyn works as an architect and he shared a collection of heartwarming photos of his wife after her death.
Chelsea had a private Instagram account that lasted 290 followers, and her profile photo saw her posing with husband Glyn.
Glyn’s only Instagram post came in 2017 when he shared a photo of a running vest and shared he as doing the Great South Run to support Cystic Fibrosis.
Chelsie’s lungs were scarred and no longer operable and functioning at 25 per cent of their normal capacity.
As a result of her genetic disorder he had to take around 60 pills a day to manage the illness.

Chelsie previously told The Sun: “For me, every day is so precious that spending them under lockdown is like having them stolen. It feels like even more time is being taken away from me.
“It’s just heartbreaking beyond words.”
Chelsie was told to isolate indefinitely which meant she was unable to see her family and fiends.
She continued at the time: “I know that seeing my friends and family is too dangerous and it could be enough to tip my body over the edge.
“But on the other hand, I don’t know how much time I have and it breaks me knowing I can’t see them.
“I love them all so much and I just want to be with them because I know I don’t have long left.”
