The Korean series “Juvenile Justice” topped Netflix’s weekly chart of the most-watched non-English TV series in the first week of March.
The Netflix original courtroom drama logged a combined 45.93 million hours of viewing around the world from Feb. 28 to March 6, which also placed it in the top five globally, including English series.
Released on Feb. 25, “Juvenile Justice” deals with the hidden or little known aspects of juvenile court proceedings and crimes committed by minors.
Four other Korean dramas of various genres made it to the top 10 for non-English series — “All of Us Are Dead” (No. 3), “Twenty-Five Twenty-One” (No. 5), “Forecasting Love and Weather” (No. 7) and “Thirty-Nine” (No.9).
Meanwhile, Korean movie “The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure” ranked second on Netflix’s weekly non-English movies chart.
