LaLiga: Sadiq nets winner in Valencia’s home win over Real Valladolid

Umar Sadiq scored for the second consecutive game to help Valencia secure a 2-1 victory over Real Valladolid at the Estadio de Mestalla on Saturday night.

Diego López gave Valencia a well-deserved lead after seven minutes.

Real Valladolid fought back, with Juanmi Latasa equalising five minutes before the break.

Sadiq, however, netted the winning goal for the hosts two minutes before the hour mark.

The Nigeria international played the entire duration of the keenly contested encounter.

The 28-year-old has now scored five goals in seven league appearances for Los Che.

DAILY POST recalls that Sadiq joined Valencia on loan from Real Sociedad in January.
