Police requested videos from the stadium
NAPLES. The defender of the Italian football club SSC Napoli, Kalidou Koulibaly, was allegedly racistly insulted by the opponent’s fans in a Serie A match with Fiorentina (2: 1). “These people have nothing to look for in sports. They need to be identified and removed from stadiums forever,” the DPA quoted Senegalese as saying. On Sunday evening, Fiorentina offered a 30-year-old teammate of Slovak midfielder Stanislav Lobotka an apology. A day later, police requested videos from the stadium. The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) also began investigating the incident after hearing Koulibaly.
