State deputy Luizinho Goebel (PV) is celebrating yet another achievement of his mandate for Vilhena and the people of Rondônia.
Thanks to the initiative of his mandate, the Municipality will have the first Military Firefighter School in Brazil, an unprecedented action that he believes will be a model for the country. The new modality will be implemented at the Cecília Meirelles State School, which operates in the Bodanese neighborhood.
To reach such an achievement, it was necessary to go through several stages, as reported by the deputy. “First, we had to present the proposal to Governor Marcos Rocha, who accepted our idea, as it was in line with his project to install military schools in the state. Afterwards, we presented the proposal to the Fire Department, which also accepted the project, and finally we discussed it with Vilhenense society, through public hearings, at which time there was full adhesion”, he explained.
The implementation of the proposal was made official days ago, and is now irreversible. For the militarization by the Fire Department of the Cecília Meirelles School to become a reality, it is now just a matter of final adjustments and conclusion of the current school year.
Luizinho Goebel emphasizes that with this project Vilhena becomes a kind of “cradle of military schools in Brazil”, having in the city three different modalities of this educational model, with a unit in the traditional molds, the Tiradentes School, another militarized municipal school, the Cristo Rei School, and now a Fire Brigade College. Militar.
“I am sure that in the near future many mayors from other cities in the State and even the country will come here to know this unprecedented educational proposal, and Vilhena will be a model for many other Municipalities” , stressed the deputy.
