Man applies for 1000 jobs through AI in sleep, gets shocking number of interview calls

For transforming a job application process a man created a whole AI-powered bot to do the job. A Reddit user shared how he used AI to automate the process of selecting candidates.

AI is used for almost anything and everything these days. Imagine if all the labour one puts into creating the best CV one can is done quickly by a bot. This is what exactly been done by a Reddit user recently. For transforming a job application process a man created a whole AI-powered bot to do the job. A Reddit user shared how he used AI to automate the process of selecting candidates.

He created an AI-powered bot which automates the entire process- from analysing candidate information, examining job descriptions, to generating unique CVs and cover letters curated for different roles.

The AI bot replied to specific recruiter questions and applied for jobs autonomously. Here comes the interesting part- the bot applied to 1000 jobs in a month and was able to secure 50 interviews for the man, who used to sleep while his bot did all his work.

The bot was so detail oriented in its work that it curated CVs as well as cover letters for the specific jobs it applied to and even passed all the automated screening systems while attracting attention from AI as well as human recruiters.

The user emphasized how AI is changing the hiring process by making it possible to optimize resumes more quickly, create cover letters more easily, and better match job needs with skill sets.

This mechanism raises concerns regarding the future of recruiting. This points to a major concern regarding if human recruiters will become useless in future if artificial intelligence is so capable of automating the entire process of job applications.

In a world where AI-optimized applications predominate, the user hypothesized that soft skills like empathy, creativity, and critical thinking could become crucial differentiators.

The user contemplated this technological transformation and realised the paradox of automation. AI enhances efficiency in work; however, it poses a big risk on the relationship between humans in professional setting and their work environments.

To maintain the productivity and significance of labor in the future, he underlined the necessity of striking a balance between AI’s capabilities and the human aspect.
