Mandic: We agreed to give a chance to the Government to resume, the continuation of negotiations on October 10

It was not easy to reach an agreement with Democratic Montenegro, but we agreed to a chance for government reshuffle, said today the president of the New Serbian Democracy and one of the leaders of the Democratic Front (DF), Andrija Mandic.

He said in the show “Arguments” on Montenegrin Television that there will be a new meeting on October 10, at which the parliamentary majority will try to bring their positions closer.

Then, as he pointed out, he will know whether reconstruction is still an option or another government will be elected.

“We now have a convincing parliamentary majority that is in favor of starting a government reshuffle that would imply respect for democratic standards,” he said. Mandic added that GP URA no longer stands behind the position to support everything that the DF and the Democrats agree on.

He reminded that the first intention of the DF was to elect a new government, but that the coalition around Democratic Montenegro was against it, and that they insisted on the reconstruction of the existing one.

Mandić pointed out that the current government was left without the support of the parliamentary majority in May, and that the political crisis in Montenegro has been going on for “a long time”.

“In 200 days, the DF and the entire coalition ‘For the Future of Montenegro’ did not evaluate the performance of the Government with a good grade, especially after the dismissal of Minister Vladimir Leposavic and the non-signing of the Basic Agreement,” he said. , Mandic.

The government of experts, he adds, did not deliver any of the expected products .

“We could not react because it was announced that if we wanted to overthrow the Government, that let’s crash with the DPS. The front is a symbol of the fight against the DPS, it would be difficult to overthrow the Government, which we supported at one point, with the DPS. The parliamentary majority is in a difficult position, so we put some kind of political pressure, “said Mandic.

As Mandic pointed out, the desire is to agree on a stronger government and better harmony within the parliamentary majority.
