Metaverse mobile: now.gg's Fungible Games platform promises revolution in cloud mobile games

Now.gg, an innovation company for the mobile cloud segment, started the development process of Metaverso mobile this Wednesday (26) . The company unveiled its Fungible Games (NFG) platform for mobile games developed on Unity, Unreal and Cocos graphics engines.

The mobile Metaverse, at first glance, makes reference

to the social “metaverse” of Facebook, which changed its name and became to be called Meta last year. The virtual universe proposed by now.gg, however, focuses on games and inspiration in the MCU, as Rosen Sharma, CEO and founder of now.gg, explains:

I’m a big fan of Marvel and I’m amazed at how they intertwine the films to create the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The mobile Metaverse is inspired by Marvel. Games today are like movies, so imagine: what if you could interconnect them with Matter, Avatars, Space and Time? Matter would be things like a weapon or item in a game, Avatars would be the heroes, Space would be something like maps with portals (like Doctor Strange can do), and Time would be player time.

The NFG platform aims to break up the structures of a game or even its dynamic recomposition in the cloud so that different players can interact or even acquire parts of it. In addition, it allows games to be interconnected and share disaggregated pieces with each other.

The dynamic composition in real-time elements of cloud games are transmitted to the user with low latency and, finally, NFG links these components between games, as well as with the user’s personal accounts and journeys.

With the NFG platform, developers have access to more ways to craft and build, and players get a much richer experience. NFG also introduces new levels of interaction between gamers, developers and game creators.

The simplest use case for this technology is that users can create a fully customized gaming experience by collecting items such as 2D and 3D images (NFT-based or not), textures, videos, and code.

Heya, a simulation game for mobile phones, is the first example of a game to use the NFG platform . The game consults a user’s profile to see which elements they have and allows them to place their digital items on the walls of their room, creating a shared environment and a fully personalized digital space.

NFG is now available. For more information, visit this link .
