Zulj has previously worked for the Austrian national team and Sturm Graz with Imre Szabics, head coach of Mol Fehérvár. “I am happy to be certified for such a great club, I really like the stadium from the first place and I see that the conditions are right for professional work. I want to quickly prove that I will be the strength of Vidi, but since for me the team is always the most important, my primary goal is to be successful in the spring. I know Imre Szabics from Austria, and there will be a familiar face among my teammates, we played with Makarenko at Anderlecht. The Hungarian championship is also unknown to me, I was aware of the balance of power before and I knew that Fehérvár was a club fighting for great goals ”- stated after the signing Zulj. A footballer with Croatian ancestry was featured in Sturm between 2017 and 2019. He made his debut in the Austrian national team in 2018 and entered the field a total of 11 times. Imre Szabics worked for the team in Graz from the summer of 2016 until the end of 2017, and was a member of the professional team of the Austrian national team until March 2021. That is, he knows Zulj well. The footballer, who previously toured in both Anderlecht and Göztepe, qualified for Istanbul’s Basaksehir in Turkey last summer, playing in seven league matches this season, spending just 180 minutes on the pitch. Zulj scored 27 goals and 28 assists in 137 matches in the Austrian Bundesliga.
