Episode 1 of My Dress-Up Darling is scheduled to air this week.
In April 2021, it was first announced that the popular manga My Dress-Up Darling would be adapted and released as an anime at the beginning of 2022.
CloverWorks studio, who’ve made shows like Promised Neverland and Wonder Egg Priority, have undertaken this project.

The story is about a cheerful make-up and fashion-loving girl who one day sees Wakana Gojo sewing away. She looks at the pretty costumes this strange, shy boy makes for his dolls after school.
She strikes up a friendship with the quiet kid and asks him to make costumes according to her proportions instead. She would then wear them for her cosplay because even though she loves cosplaying, she can’t sew to save her life.
What will the wallflower boy who makes doll costumes for a hobby do, when the happy-go-lucky, outgoing girl asks to be friends?
