In today’s episode of our PEBMED podcast in partnership with Hospital de Amor, family doctor Marcelo Gobbo, will comment on a study published in the endocrinology division of The Lancet on the health of the transgender population in the Netherlands.

O article published on the last 2nd of September is considered a of the largest studies on the transgender population

  • and evaluated the behavior of these people in relation to the health outcome between the years 1972 and 2018, considering the mortality rate between patients who were on hormone therapy and who did not use hormone blockers during childhood and adolescence.
