Rescue operation in a flooded mine. 3 divers did not leave the adit

Action in the flooded Maria Concordia mine in Sobótka in Lower Silesia. 3 divers who were members of a group of 6 did not come out of the adit. There are services on site.

6 people dived in the flooded mine. 3 of them did not come to the surface.

It looks like that you first descend on such a 40-meter platform, then you dive about 15 meters and enter a side corridor and there were a total of 6 dives today people, of which 3 unfortunately remained in this one corridor, unfortunately I cannot reach them – Tomasz Szwajnos from the fire brigade in Wrocław reported in an interview with RMF FM.

Missing divers are like he was pointing to a uniformed person who had extensive experience.

The police and specialized fire brigades – water, diving and altitude – work on site. The conditions are very difficult due to total lack of visibility.

All we can do at this point is run the underwater work robot , who, if this visibility improves, will be able to examine the corridor, whether rescuers-divers will be able to enter and possibly get to those who remained there – said Szwajnos.

Currently, it is not known what happened in the flooded tunnel.
