“The countryside has been my office for many years”, comments the new municipal secretary of agriculture when presented in Vilhena

This Tuesday morning, 4, Geovane da Veiga was introduced as the new Municipal Secretary of Agriculture (Semagri) in the Vilhena city hall. He replaces Marcelo “Boca”, who, in turn, he will be dedicated exclusively to the Municipal Works Department.

Geovane took the opportunity and thanked the invitation to take over the folder and make yourself available to add to the secretariat and on behalf of small rural producers.

With 43 years old, the civil servant has worked for the Government of Rondônia for 11 years, nine of which at the State Department of Agriculture, where he has worked in various sectors.

He was already ahead of Seagri’s regional coordinator in Ji-Paraná and until assuming the position at the City Hall commanded the Seagri regional in the Southern Cone, located the one in Vilhena. “The countryside has been my office for many years and with the experience of working in various sectors at the State Department of Agriculture, I believe I can continue the excellent programs that the City of Vilhena has and continue the progress of the work carried out by ‘Boca’ here ”, assured Geovane.
