Interesting fact that appeared yesterday, gives us insight into information about with company plans OnePlus and overall strategy. To summarize, the company’s new market segmentation works like this: the numbered series is a flagship line, R-branded models are targeted at regional markets, Nord and Nord CE devices are mid-range, and Nord N phones target entry-level.
Speaking of R models, the OnePlus 9RT has just been launched in India as a kind of successor to the 9R, but obviously there will be a 10R later this year. Not only that, but global markets seem to be getting the vanilla OnePlus 10, in addition to the 10 Pro already introduced for China.
While the 10 and 10 Pro, which will be globally announced in April) reportedly) will launch the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the OnePlus 10R will instead go with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000.
via MediaTek with Nord 2, and now that the Taiwanese chipmaker has the appropriate flagship SoC, it is ready to introduce it in the premium series, even if the 10R is limited to some regions only.

OnePlus 10R goes to China and India with a 120 Hz AMOLED screen and “at least” 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of memory, reports Android Central.
OnePlus 10R should to be in stores in those markets at the end of the second quarter (read: June). The delay has to do with a company that wants to give the 9RT model a little more space. The phone was originally scheduled to launch in India in October, but problems with OxygenOS 12 have shifted plans to this month.
