Killing Eve
BBC America has announced that production on the upcoming fourth and final season of critically-acclaimed drama series “Killing Eve” has officially begun in the U.K. – filming kicking off over a year since the third season concluded its run.
The final season will be headed by new lead writer Laura Neal, who has also been set as the showrunner and executive producer – following in the footsteps of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Emerald Fennell, and Suzanne Heathcote.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow
Wentworth Miller will reprise his role as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold for the upcoming 100th episode of The CW’s “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” which kicks off its seventh season on October 13th.
The 100th episode airs October 27th and will be a retrospective that revisits the series’ past through newcomer Amy Louise Pemberton’s human form of the Waverider’s AI system Gideon. Caity Lotz will direct. [Source: TV Line
Better Things
Pamela Adlon, creator and star of FX’s highly acclaimed dramedy “Better Things,” says the upcoming fifth season will serve as the farewell for her single mother and actress character Sam Fox. The final run is in production ahead of a 2022 airing. [Source: THR]
Moon Lake
Dan Fogler’s graphic novel series “Moon Lake” will be turned into a half-hour animated anthology series by Heavy Metal Studios, Irony Point and “Rick and Morty” animators Bardel Entertainment. Dash and Lily
Netflix has confirmed the holiday romantic comedy series “Dash and Lily” will not be returning for a second season. Austin Abrams and Midori Francis starred in the Shawn Levy and Nick Jonas-produced series.
The series revolved around cynical Dash and optimistic Lily who traded dares, dreams, and desires in the notebook they passed back and forth at locations all across New York City. [Source: Deadline]
