Manchester United finished 1-1 with Everton as hosts in the seventh round of the Premier League. The Red Devils again failed to win at their stadium after losing 0-1 to Aston Villa last week.

United came out against Everton without Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Pogba, who were left with reserves, and team manager Ole Gunnar Solskyar said he wanted to ” refresh the team after the Champions League match against Villarreal.

(The first chance in the match was for the hosts. Anthony Martial shot with his head but did not hit the door. After 16 minutes, the visitors nearly went up a goal, but Michael Keane’s free kick hit the crossbar.

The guests attacked dangerously, and “Yun “did not seem particularly stable in defense. Demaray Gray fired a powerful shot, but David de Gea managed. United took the lead in the 43rd minute. Bruno Fernandes passed to Martial, who scored with a good shot.

At the beginning of the second half, both teams rarely created positions. In the 58th minute Ronaldo and Jaden Sancho came into play. The hosts tried to put pressure, but it was difficult to reach a real opportunity. Everton equalized in the 65th minute after a quick counterattack. Fernandes made a bad corner, and Gray slipped out of Fred twice, tried and sold to Dukure. A pass to Townsend followed, which was accurate, and then celebrated his goal the way Ronaldo did after goals.

“United” allowed a goal of ” Old Trafford “in the ninth consecutive game in the championship, and this is the longest series since 1971.

The hosts could take the lead again in the 76th minute , but Ronaldo did not hit the door. Everton reached the second goal through Jeri Mina, but the goal was canceled by the video replay system (VAR) due to an ambush. In the sequel, Jaden Sancho tried a shot, but did not hinder Pickford. By the end, the hosts never found a way to score a second goal.

“United” and “Everton” are in second and third place in the standings with 14 points, with as is the Liverpool leader, who hosts Manchester City on Sunday.
