В вопросе об автономии Донбасса возможен прогресс. Об этом заявил государственный секретарь США Энтони Блинкен в ходе брифинга, трансляцию вел Госдепартамент США в Twitter.
«В соглашениях говорится об особом статусе для Донбасса, и я считаю, что в должной последовательности украинцы будут готовы продвинуться вперед», — сказал он.
По его словам, США и Украина одинаково воспринимают минские соглашения и считают их способом урегулирования конфликта на востоке страны. Блинкен добавил, что Киев добросовестно относится к исполнению минских соглашений, «чего нельзя сказать о России».
Россия неоднократно обвиняла Киев в нарушении минских договоренностей и призывала придерживаться содержания документов. Министр иностранных дел России Сергей Лавров подчеркивал, что «никакого плана Б» для украинских властей в этом вопросе не существует.
