Полная остановка проекта газопровода «Северный поток-2», сертификация которого пока приостановлена, возможна, заявил министр экономики Германии Роберт Хабек.
«Это тоже может произойти (полная остановка проекта. — РБК). Сегодняшняя мера не является санкционной в узком и строгом смысле слова… Но это все еще возможно. Мы координируемся с европейскими и американскими партнерами», — сказал Хабек (цитата по «РИА Новости»).
Как пишет Tagesschau, министр также отметил, что Европа и США должны действовать в этом вопросе «согласованно» и «не вступать в санкционную гонку».
Помимо этого Хабек высказал мнение, что разумнее было вообще не строить газопровод, потому что он оказался «глыбой риска» в Балтийском море. По словам министра, проект нельзя было рассматривать «только с экономической точки зрения», так как энергетическую политику всегда «следует оценивать с точки зрения политики безопасности и геополитической перспективы».
