חברת וולט דיסני מתכוונת להקים מגוון רחב של שכונות מגורים בארה”ב, ובכך להרחיב את פעילותה מעבר לתחום של “לספר סיפורים” (storytelling) אל “לחיות סיפורים”. חברת הבידור ופארקי השעשועים האמריקאית הודיעה היום (ד’) על תוכניות לפיתוח שורה של פרויקטים בתחום הנדל”ן לדיור ברחבי ארה”ב, והראשון שבהם יהיה בעיירת הנופש רנצ’ו מיראז’ בקליפורניה.
עסקי פיתוח הנדל”ן לדיור החדשים של החברה יישאו את השם “חיים סיפורים של דיסני” (Storyliving by Disney), מסרה החברה בהודעה לעיתונות. התוכניות לפרויקט הראשון ברנצ’ו מיראז’, קהילה מדברית הממוקמת סמוך למקום שבו שכן אחד הבתים של מייסד החברה וולט דיסני, כבר נמצאות בעיצומן….
