מחירי האשלג שנמצאים במגמה מתמשכת של עליות זכו אתמול לדחיפה נוספת. חברת Canpotex שהיא ארגון הייצוא המשותף ליצרני הדשנים בצפון אמריקה חתמה על הסכם לשיווק אשלג במחיר של 590 דולר לטונה עם קבוצת הרכישה המשותפת לסיטונאים ומפיצי דשנים בסין.

הדיווח לא פירט מה הכמות שתשווק אולם החוזים השנתיים שנחתמים בין יצרני האשלג הבינלאומיים לבין קבוצת הרכישה הסינית נעים בדרך כלל בין 5 ל-6 מיליון טונה. ייבוא האשלג לסין ירד ב-14% ב-2021 בהשוואה ל-2020 משום שהחוזה האחרון שנחתם בין בלרוסקלי, יצרנית האשלג השנייה בגודלה בעולם, לבין קבוצת הרכישה הסינית בתחילת 2021 נסגר במחיר של 247 דולר לטונה. מחיר זה נחשב על ידי…
