ยืนยันเป็นทางการแล้วว่า Death Stranding Director’s Cut บน PC จะเปิดวางจำหน่ายอย่างเป็นทางการในวันที่ 30 มีนาคม ทั้งบนแพลตฟอร์ม Steam และ Epic Games Store โดยเสนอให้ผู้ที่มีตัวเกมเวอร์ชันดั้งเดิมสามารถอัปเกรดตัวเกมได้ในราคา 10$ หรือประมาณ 330 บาทไทยนั่นเอง ก็เป็นราคาที่สมน้ำสมเนื้อสำหรับเนื้อหาที่จะได้เพิ่มเติม
Director’s Cut ถึงจะถูกมองว่าไม่มีอะไรหวือหวาไปมากกว่าเวอร์ชันเดิม แต่ก็ยังได้รับคำวิจารณ์ในแง่ดีว่าเหมาะสม คุ้มค่า เป็นที่น่าพึงพอใจ และมอบประสบการณ์ที่สวยงามบนเครื่อง PlayStation 5
