‎Google Pixel Fold 3D renders emerge, expected to be released in late 2021‎

‎The series releases Pixel 6 and Android 12 may be almost here, but the Google did not close the year, in terms of news. Sources claim that the Google Pixel Fold will be released before the end of 2021, as the first foldable smartphone from Google.‎

, the ‎‎LetsGoDigital‎‎ in collaboration with designer Waqar Khan, provided some really interesting renders of the supposed folding model.‎

‎The renders show a design that is no different fromSamsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. The selfie camera is housed inside a perforation hole in the external display in the upper left corner. LetsGoDigital believes that the front display will have reasonably thick bezels, and has as such, reflected well in its renders as well.‎

‎Once unfolded, we can see another selfie camera inside the larger display . The device is equipped with a hinge similar to the one Samsung uses in his series Z Fold .‎

‎Keep in mind that renders are just an artist’s imagination and therefore may not reflect the actual look of Google Pixel Fold.‎

Google received a patent of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for a multi-axis hinge mechanism and a foldable device therewith. The 58-page documentation described an advanced hinge mechanism, designed in such a way that only a small crease is created when the device is folded.‎

‎The patent described a device with an interior foldable screen, not dissimilar to the one shown in the renders) Google Pixel Fold above, which can be unfolded on a device with a screen the size of a tablet. From there, it is safe to assume that Google will use a similar design to Pixel Fold.‎

‎Last but not least, the folding phone that has been code-named “Passport”, could be released as early as this year. Sources gave a date for the “end of 2021”.‎
