‎TASI surges 1.5% to 11,844 points, records highest close in 2 months

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) gained 1.5%, or 179 points, to close at 11,844 points today, Jan. 11, recording the highest close in nearly two months.

Total turnover hit a month-high at SAR 8 billion.

The index continued to rise for the third consecutive session, gaining more than 400 points, or 3.6%.

Banking major Al Rajhi rose 3% to SAR 149.80.

Saudi National Bank hit a record high at SAR 71 (+3%) amid trading of about 4.5 million shares. 

SABIC and Saudi Aramco gained almost 1%.

SRMG and ACWA Power increased between 5% and 7%, recording the highest close since listing.

Alinma Bank and MEPCO reached the highest level since listing at SAR 26.65 (+2%) and SAR 49.10 (+1%), respectively.

Tadawul Group was the top gainer at SAR 142.40, reaching an all-time high.

Company Prices

On the other hand, eXtra was the top decliner, falling more than 2% to SAR 141.60.

SABIC Agri-Nutrients, Jabal Omar, Catering, Herfy Foods and Arabian Centres declined between 1% and 2%.
