90分の宇宙旅行が5,200万円！
昨年7月、英国ヴァージン・ギャラクティックの宇宙船｢VSS Unity｣が会長のリチャード・ブランソン氏を乗せ、宇宙空間に到達しました。あれから半年が経ち、2月16日から民間へ搭乗券の販売が開始されることになりました。
発表された内容は、1,000人限定でひとり45万ドル（約5,200万円）のお値段。以前は25万ドル（約2,800万円）くらいかと思われていたのですが、予想はかなり甘かったようですね。
宇宙空間で無重力体験
宇宙旅行の全行程は90分間。ニューメキシコ州で乗り込んだギンギラギンの宇宙船｢VSS imagine｣は、飛行母船ジェット機｢VMS Eve｣で大空高く飛び立ち、途中で切り離されマッハ3の速度で宇宙空間へ飛び立ちます。そして無重力状態を楽しみ、地上に戻ってくるというものです。
