설 당일인 1일 들어 오후 9시까지 전국에서 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 양성 판정을 받은 이는 1만5835명으로 집계됐다.

방역 당국과 지방자치단체에 따르면 이 수치는 동시간대 중간 집계에서 종전 최다치였던 지난달 30일(1만5142명)보다 693명 많다.

아울러 전날보다 2243명, 1주일 전인 지난달 25일보다는 6617명 각각 많다.
