＜GRIND DJ BATTLE＞はDJ OKUが主催し、大阪をベースに2012年から3ヶ月に1回のペースで開催しているDJバトル。今回、より多くの若い世代にストリートカルチャーを発進する目的で、イベント企画／運営からグッズ制作／印刷などを行うFATMANとコラボし、初めて20歳未満のコンテストを行うことになったもの。
＜2017 DMC WORLD CHAMPION＞のDJ RENAをはじめとした審査員の評価を獲得すればDJ BATTLEでは30,000円、TEAM DANCEでは50,000円の賞金のほか、副賞としてPIONEERからDJコントローラーやヘッドフォンなどが提供される。なお、応募は2月20日となっているので、早めにチェックしてほしい。
また3月に行われるコンテストはパフォーマンスを生で体験できるほか、ワークショップなども展開される。こちらも合わせてご覧いただきたい。詳細はオフィシャルのInstagramで確認を。
