What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?

I feel like what separates me and a lot of people who play my position is physicality! As soon as you watch my game film the first you see is me flying off the edge and setting a tone for the entire team to meet.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

Every day we strap up our helmets and shoulder pads it’s another day to get better. Putting my head down and going to work is one of the things I do the best

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

If I could donate to a cause it would be to kids who are struggling with getting the proper education in low-income areas. The kids are our future and without them, we are already behind the eight ball, not just in America but all around the world.

Who was your role model?

I have a few people who I’ve looked up to throughout life. The first is my mother, she has shown me what resilience is and that I can make a way out of no way. The second is my brother, Justin even though lm older I feel like watching him grow up and make tough decisions has been what helps me when I come across tough situations. The third is Earl Thomas, I’ve been graced by God to be able to see what his work ethic was like in his prime and see what it took to be the best of the best not just one or two years but multiple.

Who is your favorite NFL team?

If I had to choose it would be out of the Seahawks, 49ers, Saints, or Ravens. I honestly watch anyone and everyone who plays on Sundays so I guess you can say I’m neutral when it comes to choosing a favorite team.

Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?

Probably, Trey Witcher, he was here the year before I got here and was an All-Conference, All-Region player at the end. We both were moved around because of injuries to our line. So, we both played tackle and end, but he ended up getting moved to tackle full-time. He wasn’t the first option there, but I feel like he understood that and still made things happen knowing how tough it is to play that position here. Also, another is Justin Hines Moore (UCONN transfer), I felt like he was overlooked so many times but once he got his chance, he took it and put all his talents on display for the country to see. He has great feet and a great IQ for the game of football.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

My biggest pet peeve is probably lying, as a man who truly stands for morals and principles that is one thing I could never let anyone get a pass on.

Who is your favorite teacher ever?

I do have a few the first is my former science teacher/HS Offensive Lineman coach, Del Mar Basinger, or Coach Bay. He was my dad growing up he taught me so much as a kid living in his neighborhood but also as a teacher and coach in my high school years playing football. May his soul continue to Rest in Peace as he lost his fight with cancer a few years back! My second is a professor who has taught me in multiple literature classes here at UMHB, Dr. Soto! She has been a huge Pilar in the classroom for me and has given me the motivation to finish what I started and graduate.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

I think I have a few things that I could say was really difficult for me to overcome but making it to the other side of it and seeing the light is what made me who I am today. Losing my best friend/brother Mikey. He’s solely the reason I went back to school and played football after a 3-year hiatus after HS. Having lisfranc surgery on my left foot back during COVID. Coming to UMHB having to move positions just to make it on the travel roster my first 2 years here. Then moving back to End against our Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator (former DEnd Coach my first year) wishes, beating out multiple D1 transfers for the starting spot then LEADING our defense to a 4 round playoff run after barely getting in. Mental health/suicide/depression

If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?

Probably Wingstop, an authentic Mexican place or Chipotle

What is your favorite snack food?

Pringles

What is your degree in?

Exercise Sports Science and Education, will be returning for a masters in Sports Administration

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Mikey, just to tell him thank you! Rodger Goodell for insight on how to be a great employee in the business of the NFL, not just a player!  Deion Sanders for the words of encouragement he speaks into his players and sons.

What is your biggest weakness?

My biggest weakness is probably knowing how to communicate certain things without coming off as rude or inconsiderate.
