A 27-year-old motorcyclist is in on Friday Küttigen was seriously injured in a collision. He was taken to a hospital by helicopter.

The accident occurred shortly before 5.45 p.m. on Benkenstrasse, as the Aargau canton police announced on Saturday. At that time, a 59-year-old driver was heading towards Oberhof. When he wanted to turn left into a side street, there was a side-on frontal collision with the motorbike driver who was traveling in the direction of Küttigen.

There was property damage amounting to tens of thousands of francs. The road was closed for several hours. The exact course of events is being investigated, the police are looking for witnesses.
