Action-packed, fast-paced and above all scoring goals – this is how the HLA MEISTERLIGA presents itself after just four match days. The 1,000 hit fell in the game between Förthof UHK Krems and SG INSIGNIS Handball WESTWIEN after 19:17 minutes, the 39:32 success of HC FIVERS WAT Margareten against HSG Holding Graz was one of the most goal-scoring games in the recent history of HANDBALL LIGEN AUSTRIA.

In the truest sense of the word, the SC kelag Ferlach came under the wheels on March 6, 2021, also in Hollgasse. The FIVERS dominated the game and prevailed 45:17!
The 1,000 goal mark fell early this season. In the game Förthof UHK Krems vs. SG INSIGNIS Handball WESTWIEN, Moritz Mittendorfer hit the anniversary goal after 19:17 minutes and thus a game earlier than this mark was cracked in the previous season. The average number of goals per game has so far been higher than in 2020/2021 and the upcoming matches promise no end.

The SG INSIGNIS Handball WESTWIEN receives in the 5th round of the HLA MEISTERLIGA on Sunday at 17:00 the SC kelag Ferlach in the south of the city.
In the second home game of the season The Magnificent Seven want to continue the trend of the last few weeks and get the next points in the southern part of the city. SC kelag Ferlach has not yet scored points this season and is at the bottom of the table after 4 defeats. Last year WESTWIEN was able to win twice at home against Ferlach, once the Carinthians prevailed.
Mo Mittendorfer: “After our recent good performance, we want to keep improving. Especially in front of our home crowd we definitely want to get the two points! “

HLA MEISTERLIGA top game: Adler versus red devil
The third receives the first, top match on the 5th day of the basic round of the HLA MEISTERLIGA. Sparkasse Schwaz Handball Tirol against champion ALPLA HC Hard brings two unbeaten teams to the duel on Friday. The game will be broadcast live on LAOLA1 from the Osthalle from 6.30 p.m. The Future Team is at home against Lauterach on Saturday (6 p.m.).
Three wins and one draw and thus seven points – both Sparkasse Schwaz Handball Tirol and ALPLA HC Hard have so far the same balance sheet. The reigning champions are only ahead in terms of goal difference, which is why Hard is currently in first place, while Bregenz and the Tyroleans follow behind. On the 5th match day of the HLA-MEISTERLIGA basic round there will now be a top duel in the east hall Bärnbach / Köflach each had clear victories. Only the derby against Bregenz ended in a draw. The handwriting of neo-coach Hannes Jon Jonsson is clearly visible, the newcomers Karolis Antanavicius (left back space), Srdjan Predragovic (right back space), Nico Schnabl (back space center) and Jadranko Stojanovic (circle) have already integrated well.
“It’s really amazing how quickly it went. Hard had a few departures and had to replace the middle block, it’s not that easy. But they have compensated for that well with the newcomers. There is a lot of force coming from the back area, they have very good shooters ”, analyzes Gerald Zeiner, Adler playmaker and multiple champions with Hard. “Like against Ferlach, we need a very stable cover with good goalkeeping performance, then we can figure something out. In the semifinals of the preseason we were close twice, we know that we can hurt Hard. Our home audience will also become a factor, with the spectators behind us, a lot is possible. ”The Tyroleans hope that the last stricken keeper, Aliaksei Kishou, will be used.

Handball cracker in Schwaz – The Red Devils meet the Eagles
The ALPLA HC Hard opens in a duel with Sparkasse Schwaz Handball Tirol the 5th matchday in the basic round of the HLA MEISTERLIGA on Friday, October 1st, 2021 in the LAOLA1 live game from 6.30 p.m. in the Osthalle Schwaz. Both the Adler and the Red Devils are unbeaten so far and have not yet suffered a full loss of points.
The West Derby between Sparkasse Schwaz Handball Tirol and ALPLA HC Hard awaits us on Friday evening special handball treats at the beginning of the 5th match day. In the third away game, the Red Devils want to build on their previous performances and take something countable from Schwaz.
Frank Bergemann’s team has got off to a good start to the season and has three wins and one draw to be seen quite well. Against the HSG XeNTiS Bärnbach / Köflach, the SG INSIGNIS Handball WESTWIEN and the SC kelag Ferlach, the Adler achieved a complete success. Only against Förthof UHK Krems one point was left in the home game. The team around Zeiner, Spendier & Co is unchanged from last year and is as strong as ever again this season. The guys on the record are a well-rehearsed team and have proven once again in the last duels that they want to be at the forefront again this year Championship, the Adler and the Red Devils delivered a true handball thriller. In both the first and the second semi-final, the decision was made in extra time. The end in the semifinals suggests that the eagles still have a score to settle with the red devils. But the Harder boys do not want to give the home side the points on Friday without a fight. The Red Devils already showed last year that they can annoy the eagles, because after all, ALPLA HC Hard won four of the five matches last year. Schmid, Raschle and Co have proven that they can beat the hosts in their own hall – that should be repeated on Friday evening.
Manuel Schmid, center back ALPLA HC Hard
“A great game against Schwaz awaits us at the weekend. The anticipation and excitement for this handball cracker have been palpable in training since the beginning of the week. We can all still remember the two semi-finals in last year’s championship. Two incredibly close games, fight and tension until the very last second – a real thriller. Schwaz was also able to play home three wins and one draw this season and is currently third in the table. Your squad has not changed since last year, they are still very strong. We have to adjust to their quite tough and aggressive cover, who have an incredibly strong goalkeeper in their own ranks in Aliaksei Kishou. It is important that we counter this from the start, let the ball run in attack and then act with concentration and outsmart your goalkeeper. With Medic, Miskovez and Spendier they have a rock solid back row and we have to be prepared for their playmaker Gerry Zeiner. To kidnap two points from Schwaz is our declared goal, which should confirm our place at the top of the table at the end of the day. We want to and will give everything for this. We are ready for a hot fight in the east hall. ”

Sparkasse Schwaz Handball Tirol vs. . ALPLA HC Hard
Friday, October 1, 2021, start at 6.30 p.m. | Osthalle Schwaz LIVE on LAOLA1
Full focus on the next Victory
After a good performance at the favorites in Hard, a home game against HC LINZ AG follows. In Köflach they want to clinch their second win of the season.
The Upper Austrians, like the HSG XeNTiS Bärnbach / Köflach, have so far one victory on their account and are in the table within reach. Lucijan Fizuleto is the newcomer to Linz, who was clearly the best player with 16 goals in the last game against Bregenz Handball. The dynamic backcourt player is not only a shooter, but also the driver and thinker of the Stahlstädter and thus brings his teammates into dangerous goal positions again and again. The HSG remembers when Fizuleto was on trial training in 2018, but due to the legionnaires’ restrictions, an engagement was not possible.
HC LINZ AG is not only strong in the backcourt, but also has other top people in the squad with Markus Bokesch in goal or the newcomers Gartner, Cvetko and Babic. The Slovenian Cvetko, like the veteran Max Hermann, is still injured and will not cause a sensation in West Styria first home win against SC kelag Ferlach created a good atmosphere. With the exception of the injured Christian Bellina, all players are on board and motivated to be able to post the next meters on the HSG account.
