Safety has become a fundamental factor of consideration for selecting the right car for purchase. Many customers are okay to shell out more dollars in order to have a safer car. Though generally safety is loosely referred to the presence of multiple airbags, supporting ADAS and crash test results, the scope of a safe car is much broader. This would mean that a vehicle can be called safe when it features well on all three points:
1. Crash test results from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
2. The number of standard advanced driver-assistance safety technology features, such as blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, emergency automatic braking, lane-keeping assistance and adaptive cruise control.
3. Ergonomics or Visibility.
Through this article, we will share a list of 32 cars that perform badly on all three of the safety parameters listed above.
