Bayern Munich vs Eintracht Frankfurt: TV channel, live stream, team news & prediction

Bayern Munich’s march towards another Bundesliga title continues with a home game against Eintracht Frankfurt at the Allianz Arena.

Die Roten are in brilliant form, as always, and top the table after picking up 16 points from a possible 18. They are also scoring goals for fun, and in Robert Lewandowski have a striker who seems destined to break every imaginable goal record.

A comfortable midweek win over Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League is further good news for Julian Nagelsmann, as is Frankfurt’s record this season – they are yet to win a league game and are languishing in the bottom half of the table.

When is kick off? Sunday 3 October, 16:30 (BST)
Where is the match being played? Allianz Arena
TV channel/live stream? Sky Sports Football UK), ESPN+ (US)

Bayern Munich team news

Kingsley Coman

Bayern have a few players unavailable, but should be close to full strength against a Frankfurt side who are struggling for form.

Niklas Sule should deputise at right-back for the suspended Benjamin Pavard, while Corentin Tolisso is doubtful with a calf injury. Kingsley Coman may feature from the bench, but he’s recently undergone a minor procedure on his heart.

Frankfurt are without Erik Durm and Evan N’Dicka, as well as midfield duo Christopher Lenz and former Bayern midfielder Sebastian Rode.

Jens Petter Hauge, on loan from AC Milan, is likely to start again, with Filip Kostic also looking to capture some form out wide.

Bayern Munich vs Eintracht Frankfurt predicted lineups

Julian Nagelsmann

Bayern Munich are in scintillating form, having already racked up 23 goals in just six Bundesliga games.

Robert Lewandowski is a man possessed in front of goal – he’s netted a staggering 119 times in his last 100 appearances for the club, including scoring in his last 19 outings.

Frankfurt are yet to win in the Bundesliga this season, but at the same time have only lost once in their six games – a thumping 5-2 defeat to Borussia Dortmund on the opening day. They are unlikely to continue that run, however, with Bayern overwhelming favourites to notch another big win.

Prediction: Bayern Munich 4-1 Eintracht Frankfurt
