Neale Hill appointed head of Ford Motor Company Africa

Ford Motor Company Africa region has a new president, we learned this Friday, from a note of the automaker, announcing organizational and leadership changes for International Markets Group (IMG).

Neale Hill is the new president of Ford Motor Company Africa, since this 1 st October. He will have the heavy task of leading the company’s strategy to transform and modernize Ford’s business across the African continent. Its responsibilities have been broadened to include South Africa, sub-Saharan Africa as well as North Africa, whose regional headquarters are based in Casablanca. The Morocco unit will continue to be headed by Director General Achraf El Boustani.

This will include working together with our distributors in North Africa and sub-Saharan Africa to propose a more coherent global strategy for the entire continent , delivering truly competitive products, services and experiences to our customers , ”said Hill, who has had a career with Ford for 30 years, before ” being appointed Managing Director of Ford Motor Company of South Africa in July 2018. Previously, he served as Director of Sales and Service Marketing for the local organization from January 2016, after returning to his Native South Africa where he began his career with Ford in 1991. Between 2006 and 2015, Hill held various sales, marketing and management positions in Thailand, China, New Zealand and Australia.

Ford leverages its resources around the world to better serve its customers and treat them like family. As the company works to implement Ford +, its business strategy is to continue to capitalize on its strengths, transform its automotive operations and deliver essential products and services to all of its markets, according to Dianne Craig, President of Ford International Markets Group. “ Africa plays an important role in the IMG, and the new structure, with Neale Hill at the helm of Ford’s activities for the African continent will strengthen capabilities and will allow us to work even more closely with our dealer and distributor partners to achieve these goals
