No transfer brought more scorer
Manchester United won the home game against Everton FC only achieved a disappointing draw, whereby the “Toffees” as guests of the record champions almost celebrated an away win. Andros Townsend (30), who with his equalizing goal for the Premier League newcomer with the most scorer points of the new season, was also in focus because of his goal celebration.
Anthony Martial (43rd minute) had put the “Red Devils”, who started without the star purchases Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho and also without Paul Pogba, in the lead shortly before the break. Townsend (65th) scored the somewhat surprising equalizer for the guests and celebrated his goal with the iconic goal celebration from United’s Ronaldo. For Townsend, who came on a free transfer from Crystal Palace in the summer, it is the third goal (two assists) of the current season. No newcomer in the English House of Lords has so far collected more goal participations.

Everton then almost went off the field as the winner. Yerry Mina s hit for the supposed 2: 1 (86th) was exposed as offside by video assistants. Luck for Man United, who don’t want to run smoothly at the moment. The team from Old Trafford could only win one of the last four competitive games – and not in the league, but in the Champions League (2-1 on Wednesday against Villarreal). Before that there was a 0: 1 against Aston Villa in the championship and the elimination from the League Cup with 0: 1 against West Ham.
