Premier Groupe 1 dans la carrière des trotteurs, le Critérium des Jeunes a sacré Just A Gigolo ce dimanche 20 février sur l’hippodrome de Vincennes.
(Zone-turf.fr) – Quatorze trotteurs âgés de 3 ans (la génération des “J”) s’affrontaient sur les 2700 mètres de la grande piste pour tenter de succéder à In The Money. Disqualifié lors de la dernière course préparatoire réservée aux mâles, Just A Gigolo en était le favori et a répondu présent.
Just A Gigolo domine Jazzy Perrine
Rapidement installé au commandement par son driver Franck Nivard, Just A Gigolo a animé la course et s’est montré le plus fort dans la phase finale pour résister à la belle fin de course de sa rivale Jazzy Perrine. Joke a complété le podium devant Joyner Sport. En triomphant dans le Critérium des Jeunes, Just A Gigolo remporter sa sixième victoire en huit sorties depuis le début de sa carrière et offre un quatrième titre dans cette épreuve à son entraîneur Philippe Allaire après Ready Cash (2008), Sanawa (2009) et Django Riff (2016).
